The Government of Indonesia requested that the World Bank Group establish and chair the new Consultative Group for Indonesia (CGI) that replaces the previous Intergovernmental Group on Indonesia (IGGI). The two-day meeting is held in Paris, France and is attended by representatives of more than a dozen donor countries as well as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Participants discuss Indonesia's economic and development policies and the coordination of foreign aid to the country.
