IDA's total commitments surpass $1 billion mark

IDA surpasses $1 billion in cumulative commitments in just five years of operations. During this time, IDA committed nearly half of this amount ($464 million) to investment in the transportation sector; with agriculture ($220 million) and industry ($121 million) sectors being second and third, respectively. The majority of commitments were made to India ($485 million) and Pakistan ($243 million).
