World Bank Group commitments exceed $1 billion
The fiscal year ending June 30, 1965, is the most active in the history of the World Bank Group. IBRD makes 38 loans in 27 countries amounting to $1,023 million; IDA extends 20 credits to 11 countries totaling $309 million; and IFC makes commitments of $26 million to 15 enterprises in 11 countries.
