Detail Description
Indonesia had withdrawn from the IFC in November 1961. In the five years it had been a member between 1956 and 1961, no investments were made in the country. Soon after rejoining the corporation, however, the IFC will approve its first investment for Indonesia. In 1971, the IFC will enter into a joint venture with Japanese textile manufacturers and establish Indonesian/Japanese fabric production companies PT Unitex and PT Primatexco.
