First World Development Report published

The World Development Report, an annual publication authored by staff from across the institution, provides external audiences with comprehensive assessments of topical global development issues. The first report identifies “a number of fundamental problems confronting the developing countries and [explores] their relationship to the underlying trends in the international economy.”
