World Bank Governors hold their first meeting

The World Bank Governors hold their first meeting in Washington, D.C., from September 27 to October 3. Representatives from 38 countries attend the meeting. In his address to attendees, President Meyer reports on the many developments in the Bank’s first four months of operations and provides updates on a variety of activities, including loan negotiations and the sale of Bank securities.
